We are shaving our heads to raise money for childhood cancer research! Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So we decided to do something about it by raising money for cures.

Now we need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.

My daughter Anna, son Jesse, and I are raising money for the St. Baldrick's Foundation to fund lifesaving childhood cancer research. Jesse participated last year and this is my third year. Jesse participated last year in honor of a classmate, Amanda, who was battling bone cancer in her leg...today Amanda is cancer free and going strong. This is my daughter Anna's first year participating and is also planning to donate her hair to Lock of Love. We at first tried to talk her out of shaving her head since she's only 12 and it seems pretty drastic, but she remains determined saying, "My hair will grow back and someone else who doesn't have a choice might get joy from a wig made out of my hair, and if I can help save one child's life, it will have been well worth the small sacrifice I'm making." Please check out our page and consider making a donation of whatever you can afford!
