At Cherry Creek Academy, we have at least 2 current students who are survivors of childhood cancer.  Both of them are remarkable young people who contribute positively to our school community.  They are the lucky ones.  One in 5 children diagnosed with childhood cancer will not survive.  And 2 out of 3 children with cancer will suffer lasting negative side effects from their treatment.

A group of individuals at CCA have been so moved by the stories of these remarkable children that we want to do something to help.  So, we are shaving our heads to raise money for childhood cancer research! Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So we decided to do something about it by raising money for cures.

Now we need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.

St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids

It's all about the kids. Let's fund childhood cancer research to help kids grow up cancer-free. Get involved or make a donation today, and click a photo below to see why we need cures now.
