My brother David (a.k.a. Monk), Hunter Trotman, new guy Stan Clough, and I have committed to shaving our gourds for Team Averi in return for raising money for the St. Baldrick's Foundation to help fight the way to conquer kid's cancer. We are doing this to help find a cure for all types of pediatric cancer. Hunter Trotman, a friend of Averi, has already shaved his head to show solidarity with Averi and to help of raise funds for St. Baldrick's Foundation. Stan Clough has committed to shaving his head at the upcoming Outer Banks Homebuilders Association meeting! GO STAN!!!!! These unsolicited gestures (complete with pictures) truly brightened Averi's day and has touched our family. Click on the "we are shaving in honor of Averi Valdivieso" link below info about her. Give generously. Monk, Hunter, Stan and I are Team Averi. Whether you contribute under individual "shavee" number, the contribution will be credited to Team Averi. You can also contribute directly to Team Averi. I set Monk's goal to a cool $250.00. Since I am a St. Baldrick's seasoned veteran, I set mine at $251.25. Hunter has already raised $75.00! Stan's giving his hair and a sending a big message of support! Unofficially (checks and cash that have not been logged in yet) Team Averi is poking into the $9,000.00 arena. Awesome people! Tomorrow is the day, hair today gone tomorrow. Stay tuned for pictures, Think bald, give big. Eddie V.
