6 years ago a member of UMaine Circle K was inspired by the work she did involving cancer as and undergrad and specifically childhood cancers. She decided to do something about it and after much research found the St. Baldrick's Foundation and brought one of their signature head shaving events to campus. Now in 2016 we are still going strong! Having raised over $60,000 for pediatric cancer research the fight is just beginning and we hope you will join UMaine Circle K and all those who are making a bald statement by either shaving your head or donating to such a worthy cause!
