Chelsey Taylor was diagnosed with AML the summer before her senior year of high school in 2012. She bravely fought leukemia at Arnold Palmer for 5 long grueling months. Unfortunately the outdated and harsh treatments ravaged her poor body and she lost her battle on November 26, 2012 at the age of 18. She was a bright, funny, and fiercely competitive athlete. Ironically she never liked conflict between anyone and always was the jokester that lightened the mood. She had a saying that "her friends are her family and her family are her friends". She is deeply missed by them all.
What’s better than shaving your head to support childhood cancer research? Banding together as a team to raise even more!
Please support Team Chelsey with a donation to save lives. The St. Baldrick’s Foundation is the largest non-government funder of childhood cancer research, but donations have been down sharply since the pandemic. Let’s make sure kids know we have their back. Please give generously, to give kids with cancer the long, healthy lives they deserve. Thank you!
