This event means so much to me and to my family. I'm shaving for the 3rd year in a row in honor of my best friend, Derick Palmer. I miss Derick every day. He had brain cancer and fought so hard!! I want to continue his fight by raising money to to fund research for a cure to childhood cancer! So maybe other kids won't have to go through what Derick did. I would love it if you could sponsor me. Any little bit makes a difference!!
I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research. Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for a cure. Thank you!
Be it known to all that this participant has dedicated at least ten years of service to the St. Baldrick’s Foundation helping kids with cancer throughout all the land.
