Hello everyone,
I feel the need to raise money shaving my head for childhood cancer research because I know how it feels to be in a hospital and scared for your life. As a kid, this can be traumatizing. When I was in third grade I was diagnosed with a tumor, that was said to be the size of a grapefruit. With the support of my friends and family I overcame this challenge; however, not all kids are as fortunate as I was. My mission is to raise as much money as we can to save the lives of as many children as possible. With the help of your donations we can fight against cancer and work towards saving the lives of young children everywhere. All of your generous donations will be going directly towards childhood cancer research and saving the lives of many.
Recently a heart-breaking death occurred in Greenwich, CT of a young boy who played on the youth football team I was apart of, The Glenville Mavericks. His name was Steven Sudell, and although I did not know him personally, I could understand the pain he was going through which hurt me even more. Steven Sudell left a message before his passing which I think will inspire us all to join the fight: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lmvouFv31G4. Please understand that the money being raised is going to kids like these who deserve a future, that I was fortunate enough to be given. I want to thank all my donators for doing a truly good thing and hope that we can raise as much money as possible while having fun in the process!
