I am trimming to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Alpha Sigma Alpha

Although I haven’t first hand witnessed childhood cancer and it’s affects, the cause is near and dear to my heart. I have witnessed multiple close family members and friends suffer with this disease. Seeing how painful it can be for an adult, I can only imagine what it’s like to witness a child go through the same.

I am raising money to help children who deserve a childhood and should never have to face these struggles. Each cent, each dollar, each milestone hit is a better chance at the future for these so many children. Childhood cancer research and support is underfunded and underrepresented and we can all take small steps to change that.

If my sorority, Alpha Sigma Alpha, and I reach our goal of raising $700 I will be cutting off 10 inches of my hair. I will then be donating it to locks-of-love, an organization that makes wigs and provides them to children who lose their hair during their battle. This charity has remained close to my heart since I was a little girl and I am so excited to donate once again!

Thank you for your donation, every bit counts!
