My Story

February 22, 2011 Maci was diagnosed with a Pontine Glioma on the brain stem. She underwent surgery at Johns Hopkins March 17, 2011 to remove a good portion. She spent 3 1/2 months at Kennedy Krieger Insitute to rehab. She is learning to walk, talk and everything all over again. November 3, 2011 they found the tumor was growing significantly. She is currently taking chemo to shring the tumor. She is a spunky little 7 year old with lots of spirit and love. She has amazed us all with her endurance and love for life.
