I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

Hello Friends & Family!!! This is Olivia! I am bald now! Thank you for giving money to St. Baldrick's. I really wanted to help the scientists cure cancer. And I've raised a lot of money! I really appreciate you giving for this. I love being bald. It is everything I thought it would be. I had fun at our school's event. We had a band play, Irish dancers, bag pipers and I was even interviewed for the news. But I didn't want to talk much, so it wasn't long. St. Baldrick's makes me feel good because I know we are helping the scientists. Thank you for your money to help them also, it made me feel good to see how much money I've raised. Olivia Dear Friends & Family, Jim and I are astounded by your generosity and thank you for helping Olivia to feel successful in her efforts to help the "scientists", as she refers to it. She has gotten a real charge out of seeing the amount of money raised. Because it is a large number she is convinced her efforts to shave her head have made a difference for the search for a cure for childhood cancer. Your donation has uplifted her, making being bald a source of pride, and helped move science forward. Together we can each add to the ripples in the water that one day will generate a significant change in this fight. We sincerely thank you, Jim & Maureen Hello Family & Friends,
I am glad I am helping childhood cancer, but really I am hoping the scientists figure out what's the right thing to cure childhood cancer. I am shaving my head this Friday, March 16th at my school's St. Baldrick's event. I know you might not believe that I am, but I want to do it for fun and for childhood cancer. I would really appreciate if you can donate some money to help the scientists figure out something that could cure childhood cancer. I am so glad I am shaving my head to help the scientists and to help the cancer! It makes me feel really good and I would love to do it next year. I am also donating my hair for a wig. I had no haircuts for a long time because I had to grow my hair for a long time to do this. I will send my hair to them and they will use it to make a wig. This makes me feel good to know my hair will be used to make a wig. I think you should donate money so you can feel good, too. You can donate to me at www.stbaldricks.org/participants/oliviaobald or send a check payable to St. Baldrick's. Donations are tax deductible. Thank you for supporting me and St. Baldrick's.
Love, Olivia
Look for me and Jack at Fox News at Noon this Friday, March 16th. They will be at my school filming our event.
If you don't know about St. Baldrick's you can read about them at their website. They have given $78 million to childhood cancer research since they started in 2005! This is more money than any other organization, except our government. So when you give you are participating in this movement to help science and medicine find a cure or better treatments. Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So when I ask for your support, I'm really asking you to support these kids. Thank you!
Olivia, soon to be bald for the cause!
