I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

My name is Sienna Quetzalli Smith.  I am 11 years old and I am in sixth grade.  This year I have decided that I am shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research.  I have noticed in the last couple of years that more and more people I know have been affected with childhood cancer and I would like to see this stop.  My friend/cousin Pablo was diagnosed with osteosarcoma and had to have his right leg amputated from the knee down.  Pablo is doing good with a prosthetic and he is an inspiration to everyone he meets (GO PA)!!  Also, my other friend/cousin Mack Lim battled leukemia while in high school and she beat it. Mack now helps kids who are going through cancer, she is awesome (GO MACK)!!  Not all kids are so lucky.  Did you know that childhood cancer is a type of cancer that gets some of the least amount of money it needs to do the research to find a cure?  Well it is and I would like to see this change.   Please consider donating to this great cause.  When people ask me why I am shaving my head, I always say "It's only hair!"  What people deal with when they are going through cancer treatments is a lot more than just losing some hair.  Let's help put an end to this for all kids out there.  Thank you so much and I appreciate anything you can do to help!
