I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

It's done! [see 'after' photo]  Thanks to all who have donated already, bringing me to a little over $2200 as of today, with more still coming in. And if you still want to, we'll still gladly accept your help even though the shave already happened today.

UPDATE, 1/18/19: as promised, here's a photo taken today which shows that I do have some hair, and will have more, to shave off when the event arrives just two weeks from today on February 1. Thanks! if you've already donated; if you haven't, please help me make my goal of $2,000; I'm just over halfway there.

Well, folks, it's time again. Some folks complained that my initial profile photo wasn't really a "before," since it really doesn't have (after only a week of growing) enough visible hair to qualify. Since I've been staying bald in solidarity with Giancarlo as his treatments continue, I asked him if we could sit down together with his attorney Bruno (pictured) to discuss these complaints -- Bruno quite gladly agreed to take the matter on pro bono, so if you have any issues about my hair-growth status, please discuss with him. I will keep growing my hair back, in order to shave off in the coming St. Baldrick's day event on February 1, 2019. And later , I will post a legit "before" picture, when there is indeed a genuinely noticeable amount of hair. Meantime, once again, my dear family and friends, please consider donating to support childhood cancer research, and of course feel free to share this with anyone else you’d like. Use the handy donate button right here on this page, or e-mail me for help with other ways to submit your contribution.
