I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Baldacious Baldies

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Baldacious Baldies

Last December, I met a boy named Charlie who changed my life. Charlie was 16 and went to FM. He also had terminal brain cancer. I was nervous, wondering how to talk to a terminally ill teenager. But as we started talking, I was amazed at how relaxed and cool he was, just like a normal kid.

Charlie died in August. When I found out, I felt sad, stunned, mad and more inspired than ever to fight for kids like Charlie. It also changed my view of cancer, that awesome kids shouldn't die. My new approach to fundraising was to inspire people like I had been.

I will be shaving my head, in memory of Charlie and others, for the 8th time on March 31 at Kitty Hoynes. My goal is $30,000. Please sponsor me to help conquer childhood cancer once and for all.

Thank you.

Sincerely, Bodie
