I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Base Consulting LLC

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Base Consulting LLC

I was going to skip the head shaving thing this year but our friends in the Madison Fire Department asked, and it is hard to say “no” to those heroes.

And we have all been touched by cancer in some way by now; I hate it for the loved ones it has taken; AND most importantly, the Doctors fighting it tell me we are darn close to curing most cancers!  Yes, in our lifetime we will likely see an end to the ravages of this horrible genetic disease! The sooner the better!

I don’t have much time to raise funds as “the shearing” is on March 17 at Alt n’Bach’s Bar in Madison at 3PM.

(Running in the 5K Shamrock Shuffle in the morning to benefit Boys and Girls Clubs. Then brunch and the St. Patrick’s Day Parade on the Capitol Square with the Madison Fire Department and my dog, Elvis! Then the head shaving. One and all are welcome to attend any of the above – beers on me!!!)

So again, not much time to raise funds. So, we will once again hold the “Dye John” Auction.

Rules are simple. Whichever team donates the most $$$ gets to select the colors I will dye my hair on the Friday before the shaving.

(I will likely be out for dinner that Friday evening, where small children will politely point and say quietly to their parents, “Look at that strange man, Mommy & Daddy”, or the more bold will simply blurt out to my face, “You’re weird.” Ah, kids. BUT, it’s all for a good cause…)

Just have 4 teams this year. Whoever wins gets to vote on the colors – possibly those of YOUR company!

- Team CRC Swett

Last Year’s WINNER. (See colors below.) Tough to beat...Thanks again!!!

Wow, I am creating an accounting nightmare for myself!

Will try not to drive you crazy with a lot of post or emails. Just roughly one every other day with the standings. Auction ends at 7PM CST on 3-14-18 so that we have time to get the right dye colors…

SO, LET’S GET READY TO RUMBLE!
