I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team Strausser 2018

I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research! Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures.

I am honoring 4 different kids with different results and diagnoses.

McKenna is a girl that Carmen & Gianna both know.  She is a survivor of Heptoblatoma, 10 yr old 5th grader that attends school with Carmen.  This past fall she was a cheerleader mentor for Gianna's cheer squad.  It shows the life that can be ahead of a survivor with the right treatments and care.

Bailee is another 10 yr. old currently in remission from her treatments from Acute lymphoblastic leukemia and has been fighting the fight.

Jake is a local teenager currently fighting the fight from Paraganglioma and getting treatments.  He was diagnosed back in 2014.

Natty is referred to as an angel, meaning she lost the fight with Non-Hodgkin lymphoma.

These are but a few on the various forms of cancer that children are facing and I am attempting to help fight via my participation in this event and with St. Baldrick's Foundation.

Now I need your help!

Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.
