My Story

I am trying my best to show the world what cancer CANNOT do.  It CANNOT stop me from being a competition dancer at Starlight School of Dance, a Cadette Girl Scout, or a JMMS Choir member.  It CANNOT stop me from turning 13 years old in July 2020.  It CANNOT stop me from loving life, my family, and my friends.  I was just 18 months old when  cancer picked a fight with me. My parents say that I fought through 4 rounds of chemo, had a full liver transplant, and two more rounds of chemo.  I have been in full remission since June 16, 2009. They say that I fought hard to be healthy, and now I want to fight for all people, especially kids, who have cancer. I am lucky to be supported by friends and family who love me very much and consider themselves blessed to have me in their lives.

The Childhood Cancer Ripple Effect

Who's Honoring Me

Help kids take childhood back from cancer — support lifesaving cancer research today.

Children who are fighting or have fought cancer inspire others to be part of the Foundation's mission — to support the most promising research to find cures for childhood cancers and give survivors long and healthy lives.
