I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Be Someone's Cure

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Be Someone's Cure

Why am I shaving my head?  I've sat with a childhood cancer patient as the meds made her psychotic; as she tried to rip the port from her very chest. I've sat with a childhood cancer patient as he puked his guts out, because his chemo was destroying the lining of his stomach.  I've sat with the parents of a childhood cancer patient as they burried their baby.

I have also seen first-hand what cancer research has done. I've experience the joy of "no mo chemo."  I've experience the joy of being 100% donor and reaching that first year "rebirthday."

I shave to raise awareness and to give hope for those who are still fighting.  I shave, because 4% isn't enough!
