I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

The Holiday Season is supposed to be  a time that is filled with love and happiness spent with friends and family. Where adults and children alike await the arrival of Christmas with excitement and glee.

But for more than 40,000  families the joy of this holiday season is marred by the reality of a child battling cancer. Childhood  Cancer  is the number one cause of death by disease in children affecting children of  all ages, ethnic groups and socio-economics. Every day 43 children in the US will be diagnosed with a form of cancer and l out of every 8 of those children battling cancer will not survive.  The truly heart breaking reality of Childhood  Cancer is compounded by the fact that Childhood  Cancer  research receives only 1% of all cancer research funding.

The good news is  YOU can help change those statistics by supporting Childhood  Cancer  research (through tax deductible donations) so researchers and doctors  can find new and better ways of curing Childhood Cancer.

So I decided to be apart of ENDING Childhood  Cancer  by raising money, between now and March 18th, to fund research  for cures.

As a show of my commitment to ending Childhood  Cancer  I will be shaving my head on March 18th.

Now I need your help!

No, I'm not asking you to shave your head, I'm asking you to make a donation. Every dollar (even just a dollar)  makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.

Will you make a donation? Will you join with me to END Childhood  Cancer ?
