I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research
I am over CANCER! Recently my Mom was diagnosed with cancer and all my sisters and my niece, cut their hair to make a wig for her. Makes your heart swell. ☺️❤️️My hair is too short but I wanted to do something. For my Birthday this year I am shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research! Why children's cancer? After going through my Dad's cancer and now my Mom's, I keep reminding myself how blessed I am to have had so many years with them, each day is a gift I have stashed in my memory banks. Then I thought about children's cancer and I can't imagine how hard it must be to not have the years of memories hoarded away to lean on and take comfort in. My Birthday is the day before this event NEXT WEEK, sooooo...I ask any gifts you may have wanted to send (wink, wink) be made in donations to help me reach my goal of $2,000. Of course any extra you may want to give will be frosting on my Birthday cake. Every dollar makes a difference! Much Love- Mel
