I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team Harris

Hi everyone! It's Maddie! I am shaving my head on March 25 to raise money for St. Baldricks, an organization that raises money for childhood cancer.

I feel called to support kids who are going through the same thing I went through. I am shaving my head in honor of Sarah, Kristen and Kylie. My very strong and amazing friends I met during treatment and whom I miss everyday.

Losing my hair from chemo during my treatment taught me that you don’t need hair to be beautiful and strong. Beauty is not based on physical appearance, it’s what’s on the inside that matters. Bald is beautiful.

Thank you in advance for supporting my goal to raise $5,000 for childhood cancer.

My Roles:

  • Shavee
  • Team Captain

We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
