I helped to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Brooke Lanier's Team!

The St. Baldrick's Balder Dash is a 5K held in Durham, NC at the West 94th St. Pub. I have decided to become a part of promoting this amazing event for many reasons. The main reason being for the individuals who have touched my life in more ways than I could ever imagine, some of those who have fought and are some of those still fighting against this horrific disease. Childhood cancer, in particular, is completely different than the many adult cancers we hear of every day and it is extremely underfunded. I plan to participate and volunteer in this event in honor of the children who I have known to battle this disease. 


I hope to get a lot of other individuals involved in this event as well. Whether your involvement be participating in the 5k, volunteering at the event, donating money to the cause, or all of the above, anything you are able to give is WORTH IT and it will go beyond anything you could ever imagine.
