Be a hero for kids with cancer! Join the 2017 Pub's St. Baldrick's Headshaving event & the 2nd Annual "Balder Dash 5K" and "Kids Fun Run" at West 94th St Pub on Sunday, April 30, 2017. Whether you decide to shave your head in the Pub's 7th Annual Headshaving event or run/walk in the fun BALDER DASH 5K or Kids Fun Run, you will be making a difference in the life of a child. Information regarding both events are listed below: The Pub's 7th Annual Headshaving event: 1:30pm-4pm Get your teams together and join us for this amazing experience. Register as a Shavee, Volunteer or Donor for this exciting event. No entry fee required, just raise a minimum of $50 and receive a FREE St Baldrick's t-shirt while getting your head shaved for a good cause. To register as a Shavee or Volunteer, please select the "Join Us" button at the top of the page. 2nd Annual Balder Dash 5K & Kids Fun Run event: 12n-1:30pm. What's better than getting your head shaved for a great cause? Going for a run first?? Join us for our super fun Balder Dash, a 5K, out-and-back run along the Third Fork Creek trail in Durham. The run will start and finish at the Woodcroft Shopping Center before the head-shaving begins at the West 94th St. Pub! Minimum $35 donation to participate in the Balder Dash 5K.  Raise an additional $15 (in addition to your $35 registration fee) and receive a St Baldrick's t-shirt!   The Kids Fun Run event: 1:00pm-1:30pm, a kid friendly dash for ages 4-7 around the Woodcroft Shopping Center Track located near Menchies.  A minimum $5 donation to participate.  Fundraise on your St Baldrick's page and receive a FREE t-shirt when you raise $50. To register for either the Balder Dash 5K or Kids Fun Run, please select the "Join Us" button at the top of the page.  You can select "Volunteer" as the role and at the completion of registration, please edit your name by clicking on the blue button labeled, "View and Edit Your Page". Click on the pencil icon and next to your name add either "Balder Dash or Fun Run", then click Save. The St. Baldrick's Foundation is a volunteer-driven charity that funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government. Get involved and you'll be giving hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers!
