I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team Ochsner

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team Ochsner

When I shaved my hair for St. Baldricks in 2010 I learned a couple of things. It's cold having no hair, it is what my husband looks for when he is trying to spot me in a crowd (he lost me a lot) and most people are afraid to ask why. Even though St. Baldrics keeps growing there are a lot of people I have met over the last several years that are unaware of their purpose and everyone that learns of it is always willing to help one way or another. Having been through this before reinforces what I thought back then, no amount of hair is worth more than the possibility that the money we raise helps a single child. So, here we go again! I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research! Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures. Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.
