I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Citrix Raleigh

Back in early 2011, we heard the words no parent should ever have to hear... "your child has cancer." But sadly, every two minutes, a family somewhere in the world hears the same thing. With Oliver's diagnosis, our lives were forever changed and we were thrust into the cancer world, getting a first-hand education on the #1 disease killer of children. We stayed by our son's side as he had 10 rounds of intensive chemotherapy and underwent several surgeries -- all before the age of 3. Now five years post-treatment, our son is considered cured and he has joined the ranks of "survivors." But many children do not survive their cancers or they survive, but their treatment leaves them with lifelong damage from chemo, radiation or surgery. So on March 18th, I am shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research that is aimed at finding cures and also at developing better treatments. Can you make a donation, in honor or in memory of a child? Every $ makes a difference. Thank you, Oliver's Army!
