I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

Attending a funeral is hard enough.  Attending one for a child is heartbreaking.

This year I would like to recognize and dedicate this year’s effort to the memory of Kate Rhoades, daughter of my coworker, Mike Rhoades. Kate was diagnosed with Leukemia at the tender age of 2. She fought the good fight and stayed in remission for 2 years. Sadly the cancer came back, and Kate passed away January 12, 2016.

Thank you and God bless.
