Hello! My name is Eugene Cho and I'm a third year civil engineering major from Cooper City, Florida.
As some of you may already know, I have been growing my hair out for the past year or so, with plans to shave my head AND donate my hair.
Well thanks to the wonderful St.Baldrick's foundation and UF FLC, I am excited to be able to raise money for children's cancer research, leading up to the "Brave The Shave" event on April 7th here at the University of Florida.
According to CureSearch, 43 children are diagnosed with cancer everyday; 12% of which do not survive. Children's cancer research is heavily underfunded and could use as much help as it can get.
Children’s cancer affects all ethnic, gender and socio-economic groups, so we must all join and fight together! Any amount of donation is greatly appreciated and makes the world of difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.
Thank you!
