I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team Melodies

So, I have been blessed many times over in my life...I have a wonderful family including an adorable little man I call my son and a very supportive Mom.  In addition I have wonderful friends and a job that I have held for the past 29 years that has brought so many loving and awesome children into my life.  I'm doing this to honor them and honor all the people in my life who have fought cancer, those that lost the battle and those that won!  I'm doing this to honor my healthy son!  I'm nervous, I have no idea what my head will look like with no hair.

I'm also shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research! Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures.

Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.

We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
