My Story

On August 14, 2010 our lives were changed forever. We were blindsided by the words, "Your son has cancer." Hayden began a 104 week chemotherapy protocol for Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia two days later. Hayden's treatment has been primarily in-patient because of his age & the high risk of infection. He's had some "bumps in the road," but overall has surpised everyone with his strength & determination. As of February 2011, Hayden has completed 21 weeks of treatment & has just started his maintenance phases. In his non-chemo time, Hayden enjoys hanging out at home with his twin sister, Peyton, & older sisters Malayna (4) & Brooklyn (3). Hayden has a long road on treatment yet, but God-willing he will continue to kick cancer's butt!

The Childhood Cancer Ripple Effect

Help kids take childhood back from cancer — support lifesaving cancer research today.

Children who are fighting or have fought cancer inspire others to be part of the Foundation's mission — to support the most promising research to find cures for childhood cancers and give survivors long and healthy lives.
