I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

Hi, my name is Manuela Gutierrez and I am an alumni of The University of Florida. This April, I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research! Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures.

 I have spent the majority of my time the past couple of years volunteering with and serving children. Children have taught me more than I could have imagined and creating brighter futures for them motivates me every day. Having volunteered with children facing terminal illnesses has inspired me to raise funds for pediatric cancer research. If I reach my goal, I plan on shaving ALL of my 20 inches of hair and donating it! 

Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.
