I helped to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Blue Devil Baldies

The average age of childhood cancer diagnosis is 6. Can you imagine? In fact, more children are lost to cancer in the U.S. than any other disease. My Duke Physician Assistant classmates and I are raising money for the St. Baldrick's Foundation in order to find a cure for childhood cancers! Please consider donating to this amazing organization! Also, if you will be in the Durham area on April 26th, 2015, please visit West 94th St. Pub at 4711 Hope Valley Road to watch 7 of my classmates (which includes two rockstar ladies, Tessa and Alison) plus 100 other community members participate in a head-shaving event!! There will be raffles and a silent auction, plus activities for the kiddos!

St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
