I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Centennial Cyclones for Bald Heads

Hello, this is Charlie Barsch. I am participating in St. Baldrick’s shave again this year and would love for you to donate to this cause. If you haven’t heard about St. Baldrick’s, it is a charity that raises money towards childhood cancer research. As a participant, on St. Patrick’s Day, I will be shaving my head at Centennial Middle School.
I am shaving my head and raising money in memory of our family friend Ed who just lost his battle with cancer on 2/7/15 at the young age of fifty. Ed was an amazing and athletic man who loved to do anything outdoors including skiing just like me. Ed left behind his wife, Kristen and his six year-old son Harrison. Hard to believe, it was only six months ago, I was on my boat with Ed and his family having a terrific time!
Also, I am shaving my head in memory of, Barbara Barsch my dad’s mom who lost her life at the age of forty and left my dad at the age of eighteen. And, in memory of a family friend of mine, who lost his life to cancer at age 9. This very young boy’s name was James Plotnick.
Please donate to this amazing cause and together, we can help find cures for these sick kids and keep them alive.
