I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

Hello! So as most of you know, my little brother Jonah has been really sick over the past couple of months and has spent a lot of time at Children's Hospital. He is doing much better, however, things got really scary for a while. It was the night that I sped home from Stevens Point to see him in the hospital that I REALLY realized how important both of my brothers are to me, and that I have no idea what I would do if they were gone. I want to do something to give back to children and their families who have to go through scary situations. On March 8th, I will be participating in a St. Baldrick's event by SHAVING MY HEAD to raise money for childhood cancer research! I'm super scared and nervous but I know that it's extremely important to give back to people in need, and participating in this event has been something that I have been interested in for a while...so I've decided this is the year I am going bald for the little kiddos who don't have a choice about loosing their locks. NOW I NEED YOUR SUPPORT!!! Besides shaving my hair, I am also trying to raise money to donate to childhood cancer research. My goal is to raise $500, but it would be cool if my goal was exceeded. :) Will you make a donation? Even just $5 makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers. For more information, check out my page at stbaldricks.org/donate and make a donation!!!! THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP!! :) -Hilary
