Hello! So as most of you know, my little brother Jonah has been really sick over the past couple of months and has spent a lot of time at Children's Hospital. He is doing much better, however, things got really scary for a while. It was the night that I sped home from Stevens Point to see him in the hospital that I REALLY realized how important both of my brothers are to me, and that I have no idea what I would do if they were gone. I want to do something to give back to children and their families who have to go through scary situations.
On March 8th, I will be participating in a St. Baldrick's event by SHAVING MY HEAD to raise money for childhood cancer research! I'm super scared and nervous but I know that it's extremely important to give back to people in need, and participating in this event has been something that I have been interested in for a while...so I've decided this is the year I am going bald for the little kiddos who don't have a choice about loosing their locks.
NOW I NEED YOUR SUPPORT!!! Besides shaving my hair, I am also trying to raise money to donate to childhood cancer research. My goal is to raise $500, but it would be cool if my goal was exceeded. :) Will you make a donation? Even just $5 makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.
For more information, check out my page at stbaldricks.org/donate and make a donation!!!! THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP!! :)
