I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Westhaven Warriors

2015 will be our 4th year in a row that my son’s and I will shave our heads on Saturday March 14th to stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer, but more importantly, to raise money to find cures! Last year Robby, Andrew and myself were able to raise over $11,500 for the local event that collectively raised over $235,000! This is a huge amount of money raised and is all because of your generous support. As my son’s and I have become accustomed now to the spring shave look, they say we do the easy part. “It is not a big deal to shave our heads so that we can raise money to help kids our own ages". They have been able to grasp that these kids are forced to deal with things much larger than walking into school the next day without hair when they are not sick. I am obviously proud of them for what they have learned and learned to support. We thank you again for supporting us to our new personal goal to raise over $13,000 this year and of course we expect to exceed it.

To give you an idea of how impactful this organization is last year the St. Baldrick’s Foundation raised over $38 MILLION DOLLARS!!! Please support us with a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation. This volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government.
Your gift will give hope to infants!
