Hello! For those who don't know me, I have been participating in one way or another with St. Baldrick's for about 8 years now. My older brother, for who the team is named after, Jose Andres was diagnosed with rhabdomyosarcoma when he was 9 years old. He fought courageously for nearly 5 years. Cancer took my brother in 2009 and this is why I am here. Unfortunately, this year I am not going the Full Monty and shaving my head, but I am donating my hair to make wigs. With your help, and generous donations, I am striving to raise awareness of childhood cancer. It is one of the most underfunded illness, while simultaneously being one of the leading causes of death. I am trying to raise $1000 to help save a childs life. Anything donated to me, my team, or any other team participating in this event will go directly and exclusively to childhood cancer research.
