I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

Below is St. Baldrick's important message, but first my own... You can meet my very special friend Kendall by watching the video to the right of these words. 2015 makes five years since Kendall asked me to shave my head for him. Of course I did, only for him to ask me to put a hat on to hide my bald head, haha! Kendall has now been gone for three and a half years, but endless memories of love and laughter, as well as heartache, will never leave me. I do this to honor him, and everything he was to so many. I also do it for the thousands of children fighting that I will never meet, each of whom means as much to someone as Kendall meant to me. I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research! Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures. Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.
