Addison was a smart, feisty, beautiful 8 year old girl when we received the heart stopping diagnosis of DIPG. Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma is located in the brainstem of mostly school aged children. It is inoperable due to it's location and those diagnosed with it are given an average survival time of 9-12 months.
Addison fought with dignity and courage for 9 and a half months before her fight was over at the young age of 9. She was an amazing daughter, big sister, friend and archer. She leaves behind a legacy as big as her personality.
