I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Aria's Angels

I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research! Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures. Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers. I am dedicating my participation to the memory of Joshua Cramer. Here is josh's story....he was diagnosed with DIPG...Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma Brain Stem Tumor....Survival rate is 0%....average life span after Dx is less then 12 months. approx 300 children in the united states are diagnosed each year. Josh was diagnosed just after his 13th birthday and passed away 8 days after his 14th birthday. Josh was older then most kids who get DIPG. Generally they are between 3-7. You can also Google DIPG for more information too. Before Josh's passing, there were no research projects for DIPG because there were no cancer cells available. Thanks to Josh's parents compassion and generosity, and desire for no family to have to go through what they went through, millions of cancer cells were harvested from Josh's brain stem. Those cells are now all over the world in universities, research facilities and hospitals. Now we just need money to support the research.
