I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Essex Shillelaghs

I need your help to raise money for childhood cancer research!

On Saturday, September 13th, The Friendly Sons of the Shillelagh will host it's annual St. Baldrick's Foundation Fundraiser at the Club in West Orange. At the event, volunteers will have their heads shaved to raise much needed money and awareness to help find a cure for the leading cause of death by disease past infancy among children in the United States.

In 2014, it is estimated that 15,780 children and adolescents ages 0 to 19 years will be diagnosed with cancer and 1,960 will die of the disease in the United States. These cancers will include leukemia, brain and central nervous system tumors, lymphoma, rhabdomyosarcoma, neuroblastoma, Wilms tumor, bone cancer, and gonadal (testicular and ovarian) germ cell tumors. As A volunteer "Shavee", I will have my head shaved and need Sponsors to make donations to support the cause. My personal goal is $1,000 in donations raised. I've jump started that with a personal donation of $250.

Now I need your help! Please make a donation. Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.

Thank you for helping in the Fight Against Childhood Cancers!
