I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: The Balding Droogs

This will be my fourth straight year shaving my head with St. Baldrick's. And since my hair keeps growing back -- and cancer keeps affecting us all -- it's time to get shaved again in support of this important cause.
By now, you've heard my story, probably more than once: At 3 years old, I was diagnosed with retinoblastoma, a cancer that cost me my left eye. In gratitude for the treatment I received and to support the next generation of kids facing the fear and uncertainty of cancer, I began shaving my head with the St. Baldrick's Foundation in 2011.
The St. Baldrick's Foundation is a nonprofit dedicated to funding research and treatment for childhood cancers. Every year it holds fundraising events where supporters like me get our heads shaved to show our solidarity with cancer patients and survivors. On March 15th, my teammates and I will get our heads shaved at L.A. Fire Station #89.
This year, my goal is to raise $3,000 to support the search for a cure for childhood cancers. My team, the Balding Droogs, has an overall fundraising goal of $10,000.
