I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with:
Smokin' Aces
We all have been touched by cancer in some form or fashion in our lives. My mother is in her 8th year of remission from breast cancer. Through her treatment, she showed me what true strength and resilience is. A few years later, cancer affected the daughter of two of my very dear friends when Leah Duggan was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia at the age of 18 months. I am happy to say that she as well is in remission, 3 years on March 17.
Cancer is indiscriminant. It doesn’t know personal relationships; it doesn’t know gender, age or anything of that nature. Anyone can be afflicted by this terrible disease. Raising money and awareness for cancer research is so vitally important to me as I have been a beneficiary of this research. I am so incredibly thankful for every day I have with my mother and so thankful that Leah is full of love and life. Research has aided them both to reach remission, and that in and of itself has touched so many. Please consider a donation to this very worthy cause. Thank you!
Be it known to all that this participant has dedicated at least three years of service to the St. Baldrick’s Foundation helping kids with cancer throughout all the land.
St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids
Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
