My Story

Katherine was diagnosed Dec 22, 2004 with Acute Lymphblastic Leukemia, she was three and a half years old at the time. It was a long journey with many obstacles along the way. Despite all that she endured she had a bouncy spirit that prevailed. We became involved with St. Baldrick's 15 years ago. Katherine's uncle, Todd Goodfellow, became a shavee for the first time with Team Brent while Katherine was in active treatment. Katherine's older sister, Emma, has shaved three times -at age 13, 15, and 21!  Additionally, Katherine's cousins Amy and Kenna have shaved three years in a row starting in 2017.

Today, Katherine is cancer free. She is a leukemia survivor. She is 18, and attending Quinnipiac University as freshman in the Nursing program. She plans to become a nurse practitioner who specializes in pediatric oncology. Please support St. Baldrick's Foundation to make survivorship possible for more kids.
