I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research! Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures. Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.

As some of you know I had a cousin who died at the age of 5 of leukemia. He was an amazing kiddo and he is greatly missed by his family. I love doing this for him and my family!! Please feel free to get involved anyway that you choose!!! As of today (2/24/14) I have been told of 3 different cases of children with Cancer. I have asked permission to include them here so that you have a name to think about if you are considering donating :) First, Alby age 5, diagnosed with ALL, as of today steroids and chemo have shrunk his tumor enough that his lung and kidney function is normal and his heart is no longer at risk. Second, lil Warfield boy, 4 diagnosed with leukemia. As of last week, he is cancer free however he has 3 years of chemo ahead of him. Lastly, Little Steven (fb page: Little Steven's Battle Against Leukemia) was diagnosed at 2 (Oct of 2012) with ALL. He has recently been going through chemo treatments but in recent days he has been having good days and feeling well!!!
