I'm a first-year medical student and am interested in pediatrics, but there's only so much that doctors can do without cures. While I've been extremely lucky to have lived a healthy life, I have known a couple of people who had cancer as children, and every child that has to experience that is one too many. While I am doing this specifically in remembrance of a few individuals, I am also doing it for the countless other kids I will never know who have battled cancer. I'm having my head shaved to stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer, but more importantly, to raise money to find cures. Please support me with a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation.
