On April 11th, I'm having my head shaved to stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer, but more importantly, to raise money to find cures. Please support me with a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation. This volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U. S. government. Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So when I ask for your support, I'm really asking you to support these kids. Thank you! My personal message to friends who choose to help out: I want to thank you so much for the support. I have the priviledge of seeing these brave little children in our hospital and clinic, and I'd love to help make their lives a little easier. An example of that is how our hemonc department has created an infusion center so that the children can go home at night to be with their families and friends when just a few years ago, they would have needed to stay in the hospital. And I'd love to help make the dreams of these incredible staff members come to fruition through the research they do because we have the best there is! We have doctors who believe a large part of their jobs is to love these children and their families because love is such a great healer. So thanks for supporting me, which in turn supports our "cancer kids" and their care-givers. Terri
