I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Rio Rancho Firefighters

Hello again everyone, This is another exciting time of year for me as this is my fifth year with St. Baldricks. Again I’m having my head shaved to stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer, but more importantly, to raise money to find cures. This volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government. Your gift goes directly to the foundation without any funds staying with myself or the Rio Rancho Fire Department. This will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. Cancer is a tough subject for me to swallow. It hits very close to home and has greatly affected my outlook on life as well as my drive to help find a cure. I, as always, am participating in remembrance and honor of my two most cherished and missed individuals, Pat and Louise. My grandparents were both effected by cancer and almost didn't participate this year with the passing of my grandmother last fall. I love you both and miss you dearly. Please feel free to pass this on to anyone you think may want to attend the event and/or donate to the foundation. Our event date is scheduled for Mar 16, 2013 with a start time of 12:00 pm. This is a family friendly event with live music and of course Fire Engines! The location is set for; Santa Ana Star Center 3001 Civic Centre Rio Rancho, NM US Thank you! Jonathan Hanna
