My Story

On Wednesday September 6th, 2006 our little Brian was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblasitc Leukemia. It is on this day, a date that will be marked on my calendar for the rest of my life, that life as we knew it changed. Brians bone marrow was 99% covered with Leukemia cells. The doctor told us that Brian would have to go through chemotherapy for 3 1/2 years to treat the disease. We were assured that though treatment was long, Brians prognosis was very good. We share Brian's story with whomever will listen. We don't want people to feel sorry for our trial, but we do want people to become compassionate about donating and getting involved in the fight against childhood cancer. Compassion requires action! Raise Money, Donate Money, Donate Time= Awareness, Research, and THE CURE! Brian is everything that can be hoped for in a son. He loves video games, Star Wars, Super Mario Bros and Sonic the Hedgehog! Brian loves baseball and it has been a tradition to celebrate is birthday at the Isotopes games where he runs the bases with his sister after the game. He is our Hero, He is a beacon of HOPE in our community.
