I helped to raise money for childhood cancer research with: OSA

In 2010 a student came to our E-board meeting and suggested we adopt a program at Rowan called St. Baldrick's Day. SUP was in charge of bringing awesome events to campus, so naturally he came to us to plan it. After diliberation we agreed to host the event, with coordination from the St. Baldrick's foundation and the event fell under my committee. The special events committee worked so hard to raise money for this great cause. We set of goal of $10,000 praying we would get near it. And sure enough, night of, we surpassed our goal raising over $13,000. Students, faculty, and staff from around the campus joined together and pledged to shave their heads on stage if they met their fundraising goals. Other participants, such as myself, set fundraising goals without chopping their hair off... but still participating in fundraising and making the event come together. The following year SUP continued this tradition and raised over $17,000!!!! This year I'm volunteering once again and hope to help us surpass our fundraising goals to raise as much money for the St. Baldrick's foundation as possible. Help this amazing foundation raise funds for pediatric cancer research. 100% of the donations go to the foundation! Any amount is appreciated, thanks in advance for your monetary donation or well wishes for a successful event <3
