I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with:
Tulane SPHTM
I'm a pretty firm believer that the things we remember most in life are when we are placed outside our comfort zones and when we feel we've made a difference. Shaving my head bald? Definitely outside my comfort zone. To do it in solidarity with kids who have cancer? Completely worth it. People have told me this is "brave" - especially considering I'm female. But the people who are brave are the kids that fight cancer every day. I hope that you will consider making a donation to help me at least make a difference in a small way for finding cures for children's cancer. Any little bit helps. In the words of Mother Teresa, "We cannot do great things, but we can do small things with great love." And, I'll send you a picture of my bald head once the deed has been done. My mom said I had a peanut head as a baby... let's hope that's not still true. :)

St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids
Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
St. Baldrick’s started as a grassroots effort 25 years ago, driven by people who believe in helping kids with cancer.
