I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

Generic Message from St. Baldricks: I've answered the call to be a hero! I'm having my head shaved to stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer, but more importantly, to raise money to find cures. Please support me with a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation. This volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U. S. government. Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So when I ask for your support, I'm really asking you to support these kids. Thank you! Click "Make a donation" to give online, or donate by phone or mail. My Message: If you are here as a friend or family member, you probably are already well aware that I am rarely ever someone that fits into the normal mold of society. Ive always had a strong desire to just shave my head, just cause. When I heard that by living out my small little pleasure I could also help kids in need I jumped on the idea. Personally I havent ever had to face or observe the struggle of childhood cancer. I have watched family members and friends battle the degenerative illnesses. Cancer is something that is all too true in all of our lives. It is for this reason that I am planning to shave my head to provide an all too real representation of the struggles that the youngsters around us go through when battling cancer. I would like to ask that if you are able and willing to please make a donation of whatever size you can, to this great organization that is helping find a better tomorrow for those kiddos fighting.
