I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

Dear friends & family, A friend of mine, Gail Fernandez, participates in this event every year. This year, she asked if I wanted to join her. I am not sure how I stated my "No" response but hers was "if you had cancer, you wouldn't have a choice". Just recently my friend Nancy was diagnosed with breast cancer. Some how it hit me that I needed to be bald with her in order to help her get through her battle with chemo. So, this Friday, Gail, Nancy & I are all participating together & will be shaving our heads at the same time! This event raises money for kids with cancer so I am thrilled to participate. Take care and anything you can do will help. My goal is $1,000! Many thanks, Caryn
